That's an interesting idea. For Scyther, couldn't you just use R/B? Not sure if theyy're the best choice, they could easily just use strong attacks securely.

Fine whatever, if it helps you guys suggest better Pokémon! As Crabhammer saidd, that's just a Red & Blue Scyther.
Maybe if you changed its moveset a lot Scyther wouldd work, otherwise it's way too simple.

DDon't mind DarthSpearow, they do this oftenn. I guess Scyther might be more varied than R/B Pinsir, but not sure!!

Not often. Just when provokked! Anyway Pinsir is a very good choice for R/B, you should use it.

LOL I agree with Quagsire. That would be a cool pick. Not surre about Jigglypuff. Why not Sandshrew? A bit late. Agree about Sandshrew being better than Jigglypuff. Especially if the Jigglypuff ROM Hack were trying to be really cutesy about iyt.

I suppose that you could have a game where Jigglypuff has to follow people around and cause trouble like in the anime, but in a normal game with a League structure this Pokémon might well run into issues. That's an interesting idea. For Scyther, couldn't you just use R/B? Not sure if theyy're the best choice, they could easily just use strong attacks securely. I suppose that if you wanted to use FR/LG, you could always use this kind of thing to set up a 'set-piece' or situation modelled after a situation you might experience in Red and Blue. For instance, having certain Pokémon and having to take on a later Gym, and so on. Or - on this kind of subject - you could have Pokémon Yellow without Pokéballs, and perhaps with more formidable Gyms and trainers. More Rock/Ground types and so on might help, as would a better Team Rocket. Especially as people tend to get attached to Pikachu, this could allow for you to more freely mould the experience with minimal alterations.
